                 President's Message:

"An Injury to One,

is an Injury to All"

So far this year we have worked hard to build unity and to increase our organizational capacity to support each other.  I am very happy to report that our YCEA Ranch Roundup Event was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who came out that evening. We hope to make the event an annual tradition.

We have also had several very successful trainings, which will continue to develop our leaders and provide a focus for our association throughout this school year.

Unfortunately, we also have members facing very difficult situations at some sites such as lack of student discipline, unfair evaluation procedures, and not receiving proper support from administration.

While we are working hard to address these situations, I want to remind everyone of our core principle:

"An Injury to One, is an Injury to All."

We gain strength by supporting our colleagues who need our help. We bring dignity to our profession by standing up for our students, staff and parents. We elevate the entire District by being the best professionals that we can be. Our efforts will continue, and I thank you for your support.

Thank you all for your daily hard work, and I hope you have an excellent school year.

In Unity,

Christopher Brunette
